Martin Dimov (Bg)

Martin Dimov is a DJ, producer, and co‑founder of the Bulgaria‑based movement BLVKCAT. Originally trained in acting, he spent years working in theatre and film before discovering his true artistic home in electronic music in 2020. His background in performance and storytelling shapes the emotional depth and cinematic tension that define his sound.

Martin quickly became recognized for his organic fusion of Afro House, Afro Tech, 3 STEP, Organic, and Progressive House, a style built on warm percussion, hypnotic grooves, and deeply evocative atmospheres. Together with Alexander Sawyer, he forms one half of BLVKCAT, a duo known for delivering powerful, immersive sets across major festivals and top electronic venues in Bulgaria.

In 2024, Martin stepped into music production, translating his signature emotional landscapes into original compositions. For him, music is more than rhythm — it is memory, movement, and the feeling of “a distant beach in a long‑forgotten summer.” His mission is to create experiences that connect people, both on the dancefloor and far beyond it.
