Fernando Doom
Fernando DOOM is a Mexican DJ and producer whose sound blends tribal energy, emotional depth, and modern Afro House aesthetics. Born and raised in Mexico, he began his journey at 17, performing in local nightclubs across Cuernavaca and holding his first residency at the iconic Discoteque Juarez 4. Inspired by the electronic pioneers of the 90s and early 2000s — Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Carl Cox — Fernando developed a musical identity rooted in rhythm, intensity, and global dance culture.
Over the years, his style evolved into a warm, organic, and percussion‑driven fusion of Afro House, Latin House, Tech House, and World Music elements, characterized by deep tribal grooves and emotional vocal textures. His talent gained early international attention when he placed #20 worldwide in Matoma’s remix contest on SKIO Music, marking a turning point in his artistic evolution.
Fernando’s dedication and professionalism have led him to release on labels such as Creme Café Music Records, United Records, and Groove Society Records, while also performing globally as a resident DJ across the cruise industry for Royal Caribbean, MSC Cruises, and the luxury fleet Explora Journeys.
In 2025 he joined Batuque Music, marking a new chapter in his artistic expansion:
- “MOVE (Oh My)” – his debut on Batuque Music – introduced his vibrant, dancefloor‑focused Afro House sound, blending sweet female vocals with warm percussion and rolling grooves.
- “Niwewe” – his upcoming release – reveals a deeper, more spiritual side of his artistry, merging ancestral vocal textures with hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric tension.
With each release, Fernando DOOM continues shaping a signature sound that is tribal, emotional, and unmistakably his own — a journey that resonates from intimate clubs to global stages and luxury destinations around the world.
